Waling one morning I found this beautiful piece of Eucalyptus bark recently peeled off the trunk of the towering tree. Inspired, I carried it home, (much to my dog's confusion). I was unsure what I would create with it. This painting grew out of sketches and explorations. It is my way of honoring these powerful and beautiful trees.
